Event 3.0 Season 1.0
International Anthem label artists Jeremiah and Marta arrive from Los Angeles for a unique UK performance, playing bucolic ambient electronic soundscapes from their critically acclaimed ‘Recordings from the Åland Islands’ album.
‘Together their instruments capture the beauty of the landscape, but also something more – these pieces evoke a real sense of mystery, like the long-gone Stone Age cultures which leave the Åland Islands with a mythic, almost magical quality. Beautiful’ – Electronic Sound
‘…an immersive audio tour that acts as a kind of Baltic analogue to ambient jazz pin-up boy to Jon Hassell’s more equatorial excursions’ – …….. MOJO
“Very very beautiful” – Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music)
“I just love this. One of the most beautiful things i’ve heard over the past few weeks” – John Kennedy (Radio X)
